TROPICAL ACAI SMOOTHIE😍
I’ve never been the type of person that wakes up starving, so smoothies for me are the best way I can get some extra veggies and nutrients to keep me full until lunch time. This tropical smoothie hides the veggies in the best way and tastes like you’re on a tropical vacation – such a great way to start your weekday. Feel free to add some unsweetened almond butter for a protein packed post-workout smoothie!
Serves 1.
Ingredients:
For the Tropical Acai Smoothie:

½ cup frozen mixed berries

½ cup frozen pineapple or mango

1 packet acai (check your labels, make sure it’s just acai with no added sweetener)

½ cup frozen chopped spinach

½ banana
-
1 tsp chia seeds
-
¾ cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut beverage (check your labels) – use less if you want this to be more of a smoothie bowl

2 scoops unflavored collagen or protein powder (I like Vital Proteins)
Directions:
For the Tropical Acai Smoothie:

Defrost the acai packet in some warm water for a few minutes to loosen.

Add to a blender with the berries, pineapple, spinach, banana, chia seeds, collagen, and coconut or almond milk. Link to my absolute favorite blender here.
