This smoothie is packed with nutrients and immunity boosting qualities. See below for some highlights:

Turmeric – known for it’s anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties

Kale or Spinach – both great sources of beta carotene, which is known for reducing inflammation and increasing disease-fighting cells

Pineapple – loaded with vitamin C, even more than an orange!

Ginger – more anti-inflammatory properties

Cauliflower – more antioxidants to boost your immune system and fight off infection

Carrots – more Vitamin C, also contain antioxidants, which help your body fight cell damage and inflammation

Orange juice – loaded with Vitamin C, known to help maintain a healthy immune system
Ingredients:
For the Immunity Boosting Smoothie:

1 cup frozen Pineapple

¼ cup frozen or fresh cauliflower rice
-
½ cup baby carrots
-
1 cup orange juice
-
1 banana
-
½ tsp turmeric
-
½ tsp grated ginger
-
1 tsp chia seeds
-
1-2 scoops of your favorite unflavored collagen (I love Further Foods brand)

Pinch of black pepper (see above)

1 cup kale or spinach (optional for brownie points)
Directions:
For the Immunity Smoothie:

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high speed until creamy. Serve and enjoy!
