Calling all pickle lovers and honestly everyone because this dill pickle tuna salad is going to become your new obsession. You’ve got crunch from the pickles and celery, tanginess from the pickle juice and lime juice, freshness from the herbs, and a little kick from the pickled jalapeno – it’s truly the most perfect combination. I’ve been making variations of this for years – but keep coming back to this one. Whether you’re piling it onto a sandwich, scooping it up with crackers, or enjoying it straight from the bowl (no judgment here!), this easy recipe will be your new go-to.
Why I love this recipe:
- It’s loaded with fresh herbs and flavor from the pickles and pickle juice, so it only uses a tiny bit of mayo for flavor and creaminess.
- It’s a great healthy meal prep option that’s high in protein, and satiating enough for a snack with crackers, or on toast/in sandwiches for an easy and fresh lunch. Pro tip: add some pickle potato chips to your tuna sandwich for a pickle explosion!
- I’ve made variations of this tuna salad for a few years now, and even missing a few ingredients or adding what I have, the base of this recipe is just so good.
